So, I’ve been spending my free time hacking into the graphics files of old games from bankrupt companies and I plan on using these graphics to make myself a little Flash game.

I’ve got about 85% of all the graphics seporated into layers in PSDs which I’m going to import into Adobe Flash CS3 when I’m ready for them.

Here are some example animated GIFs I put together (in about 5 minutes) of some of the games graphics which I have gathered.

This is the Player… he’s using up a lot of lives.
The speed and smoothness of those animations of course doesn’t reflect that of the final game graphics, since I just put these together in Photoshop.

I’m going to need background art since that was one thing I could get out of the code… also I want to make my OWN game, not remake the game I’m ripping the graphics out of.
I have no intention of using this game to make any money nor will I claim these graphics as my own. It is simply a fun exercise in my Flash programming skill.  The game WILL however be available to play (probably on NewGrounds) once I have a working alpha version complete. Look forward to it and I will keep you posted.

EDIT: Oh Man Tray, look up at the sky!  It’s a Full Moon…  on the Sabbath!
